The only way to describe this Duxbury Bay wedding is PERFECT!  Upon my arrival I learned that the makeup and hair artists had already completed the entire bridal party.  Wait a minute, WHAT?!?!  This started our entire day ahead of schedule, and I can’t thank Adrianna and Alissa Zloger enough.  You guys did an amazing job and set the tone for the day!

Shortly after getting some quick bridal party shots with the girls one of the groomsmen said he had a question: Would I be willing to head to the beach with the groomsmen and groom and photograph them all jumping in the ocean?  YES!  Of course I would, and we had a blast getting some terrific shots before they had even begun to get ready.  As a special addition, Jen and Cam’s dog Ryder joined in the fun!

It was also during this time that Cam let me know he had two surprises for the bride-to-be, which was even more special since they were dead-set on not seeing each other before she came down the aisle.  The first was opened right before they were introduced at the reception, and was a gorgeous second  ring.  However, the second gift required a little trickery (which I am always happy to help with!).  While the wedding party quickly stepped out to get some pictures on the beautiful patio, their DJ and co-conspirator Erik (DJX Studio) set up a screen and projector.  Once the wedding party came back in, Cam appeared on screen with a countdown of every single day for the past year counting down to the wedding!  It was AMAZING, and everyone there had to wipe their eyes as they watched.

Cam had warned me in advance that I might have to scoop him off the floor when he saw Jen, and who could blame him!  It was incredibly sweet, but I have to say that Jen has a contagious smile that can light up a room.  I did my best to capture that, and certainly won’t forget screaming about the picture-perfect setting and incredible light we had during your portraits!

Jen and Cam, it was an honor to be the photographer for your wedding.  From the beach to the dance floor, which was PACKED all night, it was truly a pleasure.  I hope you enjoyed your photographs and your honeymoon in St. Lucia!  I also have to thank Lemon Drop Team (web info) for their phenomenal work in keeping this day ticking over.  We never missed a beat and ran on time the whole day, and I hope to work with you again in the future!
