I had so much fun photographing Chris & Sam’s engagement session at the Wayside Inn Grist Mill this past fall.  I know Chris and Sam from mutual friends.  Chris proposed to Sam while they were vacationing in Italy.  What a dream engagement!  I was so excited and honored when Sam asked me to photograph their engagement session.  They already hired a photographer to photograph their wedding through their venue, but choose me to photograph their engagement.  It really meant a lot to me!

We started their engagement session with their puppies.  I love the photo of Sam and Chris laughing because the puppies were getting all tangled up.  It was a real life moment which is why I love it so much!  We walked around the Wayside Inn Grist Mill.  If you haven’t been there please go, there is so much to see!  Chris and Sam love the outdoors!  It was fun watching them fish and snuggle.  We managed to avoid the sprinkle during the shoot.  Sam wanted to incorporate her dad’s Chevrolet Scottsdale Truck, so we did!  What a beauty by the way!
