4th of July | Humarock Beach

As most of you know I love the beach which means I love summer!  The 4th of July is my favorite time of the year especially at Humarock Beach.  The 3rd of July is the big night down there with bonfires and fireworks on the beach.  Best night ever!  I mean, how can you go wrong with wearing bathing suits, hanging out at the beach, the sand, drinks and cute summer dresses.  It makes me so happy.

We played corn hole (yes that is me bragging), swam in the frigid cold ocean, cheers with my Cumberland Farms Chug Jug.  If you don’t have one yet you need too purchase one!  Chased the sunsets each night and I’m incredibly thankful we did not miss them.  Sunsets for the records books this year.  We skipped rocks in the river.  Having fun with my cousins while playing with sparklers.  It was a great time for me to practice photographing them.  Once of the best parts of the weekend was pretending we were in the Disney movie Tangled letting Lanterns go up in the air while making wishes.  The lanterns are a lot of work but worth it in the end as you can see in the pictures below.  Of course you can’t celebrate the 4th of July without watching fireworks.  Enjoy my four day weekend at Humarock Beach with my family.

xoxo Jen Araya

Looks like a good time was had by all. Love the lanterns – we put up seven on the 2nd for McKenzie’s 7th birthday. Looking forward to showing you Wilmington.
